The obligatory stats: I'm 44, divorced and have no children. I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I'm a computer tech by vocation and a Ren Faire junky by avocation. Any dedicated computer owner will tell you that the most precious object they own is their system. I'm one of those people you call on the phone when things aren't working. It's a good feeling getting everything up and working again. Right now I work for an internet provider but I've also done hardware support for computer manufacturers. All said and done, I really have to say that I preferred the hardware support but, unfortunately, this pays better. During my time off I like to read and to write. I love to cook though I don't get as many chances as I'd like to have. I've got a mountain bike and ride a few miles most every day but I'm not up for any marathons yet. Like any techno weeny I spend a lot of time tinkering with my computer. It's been torn apart so often that I don't even put the case on it anymore; I just blow the dust out once a week or so. Working on this page I've learned a fair amount about HTML, Paintshop Pro and Photoshop. Right now I'm struggling to master Dreamweaver and a few other assorted applications from Macromedia. Heh... don't expect anything too flashy here for a long while. Just working with an editor is a whole new world for me. On the less technical side I love Renaissance Festivals. The picture above was taken at the Scarborough Faire in Texas. I don't own more Ren garb than mundane wear yet, but that day could come. Here at home my favorite Faire is the Bay Area Renaissance Festival held every spring in Largo. Sadly, they don't have a web site. I'll be there as many weekends as my work schedule allows. Ooohhh... and I'm now a card carrying member of the International Wenches Guild.
